Located in the heart of thriving downtown Houston, the George R. Brown Convention Center is the City's premier convention venue. Officially opened in 1987, this spectacular facility was named after the late entrepreneur, civic leader and philanthropist, George R. Brown (1898-1983), in recognition of his donation of land for the development of the convention center.  Brown was internationally known and one of Houston's most prominent citizens.

The high-tech look of the facility symbolizes its devotion to function, and was intended to reflect the City's futuristic attitude. From sub-floor utility pockets and state-of-the-art audio visual equipment, to deluxe seating and spacious meeting rooms, the GRBCC is packed with everything you need to make your convention a success!

This project dealt directly with the City of Houston in expanding the seating for the convention center with 6,176 hussey Model 7300 Platforms and Sentinel Chairs. This project operated by the Rol-Eze Power System
