Specialty Supply and Installation Co. (LLC) is a family operated business specializing in seating projects and gymnasium equiment. Our business consist of four distinct and unique facets of operation: New Product Sales, Installation & Service, Repair & Retrofit, and Manufacturing.
We have been in business since 1972 and have earned the reputation for providing quality service at a fair price. During those thirty plus years, we have provided dependable service to the construction and remodel education market. SSIC is the only sales and service company providing service or repair to ALL brands of gymnasium seating.
Whether it's repairing gym bleachers, providing new seating, adding power to existing bleachers, or providing volleyball or basketball equipment, we have the experience and ability to respond effectively and accurately to our customers needs.
It is important to note, that as a family operated business, all aspects of our business are closely monitored with a commitment toward growth and success through service. SSIC has grown from our beginning in 1972 of only two employees, to the present twenty-two full time employees. Twelve of those employees are assigned to our field installation and repair crews. Having our own service employees dispatched from Conroe every week gives us a tremendous advantage over our competitors. Virtually every installation or major repair is reviewed at some point by our president, Dennis Norman.

By not offering everything from pencils to bleachers, and by focusing our sales on a very limited number of products, we can truly specialize in a secialty market. The result is, in the most recent independent industry report, we lead the market, almost 2 to 1, over our other bleacher competitors. Equally important to note, all of our outside sales people have been involved in the installation and/or repair of various projects. Once again, this gives us trememdous advantage over our competitors, in that we all have first-hand knowledge of what the best options are, what will not work, and what will be the most advantageous for our customers.
The success of our style of business, (focusing on only a few specialized products) is evident not only in market share but in our overall sales totals. We have grown from annual sales of around $700,000. to this year's sales projection of $8.5 million in just a few years. We remain committed to this long term pattern of growth, and at the same time recognize the value of our reputation and the impact of our valued customer references. We will continue to dance with what brought us!
